Robert Kompel
Montana Area Manager

Robert brings more than 28 years of professional experience to our firm. He has led operations in both civil and highway construction as well as in the public sector as a municipal public works director. Robert was drawn to Lawrence Construction by the company’s decades of innovation and commitment to craftmanship, and adamantly supports the company’s foundation of “Do It Right the First Time.”  He carries the unique perspective of not only having the experience of managing projects and leading staff, but also collaborating with contractors from the other side of the table as a municipal owner’s representative.

Robert encourages a team approach to work that honors Lawrence’s commitments. He also respects and values the input of the project owner and invests in building long lasting working relationships. He holds a B.S. in Construction Management and has worked in multiple regions of the country. Robert lives in Montana where he is a husband, father, an avid outdoorsman, and has dedicated much time to several community boards and interests…when of course he is not chasing his two highly strung Brittany Spaniels across the prairie in pursuit of sharp-tailed grouse.
