Lawrence Construction and our design partner, RS&H, signed contracts with the City of Aurora in January 2023 and began the final design for the diverging diamond interchange on I-70 at Picadilly Road.  The project is designed to facilitate north-south connectivity on Picadilly and provide local access to I-70 for the growing development in the area. The interchange will support freight commerce, ease congestion and improve safety.  The project also extends Picadilly between Colfax Avenue and Smith Road improving overall connectivity by designating Picadilly as a key arterial.  Lawrence anticipates construction to begin in the summer of 2023 and project closeout in late 2025.
