Lawrence Construction was hired to build four miles of a new interceptor canal for the Climax Molybdenum Company at the Henderson Mill.  Work included excavation, stripping and replacement of topsoil, placement of 18,000 tons of aggregate base course, installation of 48-60” HDPE fusion welded pipe, multiple concrete structures and wetland mitigation and restoration.  As a high mountain contractor with generations of experience in the Rocky Mountains, Lawrence was able to manage a short construction window at 9400 feet and delivered this project on-time before the spring melt of over 4’ of packed snow.
